Day to PARA GAMES
National kickboxer Chheang Lvai reckons Thailand and the Philippines as tough rivals at the 32nd South East Asian (SEA) Games in Cambodia in 2023.
“I’m training very hard regularly. I have improved a lot on technical ability if compared to SEA Games in Vietnam,” said Lvai.
“My toughest opponent is Thai kickboxer. For SEA Games 2022 in Vietnam, I lost to Thai kickboxer, so I didn’t get a gold medal.
“Another country is the Philippines as they have a lot of great kickboxers.”
Lvai is very committed to winning a medal for the Kingdom at SEA Games 2023. He is confident to take a revenge against Thailand national kickboxer Thongchai Thapphli, who defeated him at SEA Games 2022 in Vietnam.
He made his SEA Games debut in 2022 and won silver on kickboxing event after losing to Thai National kickboxer Thongchai Thapphl in the final.
