Jan 12, 2023

Vietnam Cable Television Corporation (VTVcab) was officially announced as the first broadcast partner in Vietnam for the 32nd SEA Games scheduled to be held from 5th to 17th May 2023 in Kingdom of Cambodia.

The announcement was held over the weekend in VTVcab headquarters attended by VTVcab chairman Mr. Hoang Ngoc Huan, VTVcab CEO Mr. Bui Huy Nam, CEO of Cambodia SEA Games Organizing Committee HE Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of Vietnam Olympic Committee Mr. Manh Van TRAN and stakeholders of media and sports in Vietnam.

It is the first SEA Games where the broadcasting rights are sold after it was collectively agreed by the SEA Games Federation members at the SEAGF Council meeting held last July in Phnom Penh to support Cambodia who will be hosting the Games for the first time.

The 32nd SEA Games organizers will be producing a variety of sports which are popular in Cambodia and in the Southeast Asia for the benefit and the viewing pleasure of the public, fans and the member countries.

VTVcab will be broadcasting LIVE coverage and daily highlights of the Games in Vietnam and is scheduled to also produce their own supporting programs of the 32nd SEA Games as a build up to the Games for the benefit of their viewers and fans in Vietnam.

CAMSOC looks forward to having more broadcasters signing up in the near future as it continues its preparation towards hosting the SEA Games for first time in Kingdom of Cambodia.
